Greetings.

A little bit about me and Hanafuda.com...

I originally started playing Hanafuda with my ex-girlfriend 5 years ago. (yeah, yeah, sappy, I know) It was a game we both enjoyed playing, and even though we aren't together anymore, I still love playing the game.

Somehow I managed to acquire the URL hanafuda.com, and I had this brilliant idea of making a great Hanafuda website. I think I procrastinated for about 4 years, doing nothing to the site. Some of you may remember the "Later rather than sooner..." tag. At least I wasn't lying!

Now, I'm back into the loop, and I have some grand ideas about some cool games and what to have on this site. Since I can't find any online English versions of the games, that seems like the most logical thing to do.

So I'm starting with a simple single player flash game, and eventually will develop a table based multiplayer game. People from around the world can play each other. It will be sweet!

I'm also looking to gather all kinds of information about the rules, cards, history, etc. If you would like to contribute or have any really great info, please email me at contribute@hanafuda.com.
